Registration_and_Abstracts

Please, fill in all the items in the Registration Form.

Prior to do that, please, read the following remarks carefully:

Although you should have your ALAMY_9 abstract ready to submit as an attachment during the filling in your Registration Form, you may also register without sending your Abstract right now. In the case it is more convenient for you now, e.g., you need some more time to have your Abstract in its final shape, you may send it to the Main Organizer (Stefan.Janecek@savba.sk) also later as an e-mail attachment; just inform about that in your Regitration Form in the "Comments".

Everybody has to fill in his/her Registration Form (also the Programme Committee members, Invited Speakers as well as Accompanying persons).

PhD-students who would like to have their ALAMY_9 fee reduced, please contact first the Main Organizer (Stefan.Janecek@savba.sk ). You have to provide with a letter confirming that you are a PhD-student now (from your University, signed by your supervisor). Please, take into account that the number of the reduced PhD-fees for the ALAMY_9 is limited to 10. The rule “first come - first served” will strictly be used. Once you get confirmed that the fee in your case was reduced, please go ahead with filling in your Registration Form.

Since the payment is still "on hold" - until the end of February or at the latest the beginning of March 2025 - the filling in the Registration Form means that you have pre-registered for the ALAMY_9 Symposium. It is also expected that you will arrange the payment of the Registration Fee once it is enabled/opened. You will be informed by the Main Organizer about that. It means that your Registration will definitively be valid only after the payment is received.

Please keep in mind that the Registration Fee for the ALAMY_9 covers, in addition to all meals during the Conference, also your accommodation in the Smolenice Castle. So that during the days of the Conference (14-18 SEP 2025; i.e. 4 nights), it is not necessary to arrange the accommodation by yourself. However, since the number of single rooms in the Castle is limited, most atendees are kindly asked to share the room. For details, please look at the Fees and Payments.

Registration:
- early-bird until 15 July 2025
- standard after 15 July 2025

Abstracts:
- for Oral Talks until 15 July 2025 and for Posters until 15 August 2025

The extra privilege of the ALAMY_9 Symposium is the opportunity to submit more abstracts per one registration, i.e. every participant may deliver more posters.

In the case, you would like to submit more than one abstract, please upload your abstracts as a single file within the Registration Form. If any problem, please contact the Main Organizer (Stefan.Janecek@savba.sk).

Abstract Book will be collected from both oral and poster presentations.

In addition to Invited Lectures, additional ~20 Oral Talks will be selected amongst the Abstracts submitted in the "early-bird" time - preferably before 15 July 2025. The selected presenters of Oral Talks will be notified continuously as soon as possible (starting from ~1 August 2025).

Late Abstracts for Poster Communications - after 15 August 2025 - may be submitted until the Standard Registration is closed.

Every abstract will be acknowledged. If you do not receive the acknowledgement e-mail, please contact the Main Organizer (Stefan.Janecek@savba.sk).

The length of the abstract should be no more than 400 words including References (if any). The graphical items should be kept on minimum; please, use them only if necessary (figures only in black-and-white). The space occupied by an illustration or a table should be saved by an adequately shorter text of the abstract.

Abstract should be saved and uploaded as an MS-Word file (e.g., Surname.doc). Example of an abstract in DOC or PDF format. In each case, please save a copy of your abstract for yourself, too.
