Both buses from Vienna will park somewhere near the Exit from the Vienna Airport Schwechat on Sunday early afternoon (11th SEP). There will be our guides in the buses who will take care of you.

The planned departure of the first bus to Smolenice (with stop in Bratislava) should be at 12:30 from the Vienna Airport arriving in Bratislava at ~13:30-13:45 (leaving at 14:00) and Smolenice Castle at ~15:15-15:30.

The planned departure of the second bus to Smolenice (directly, without any stop in Bratislava) should be at 13:30 from the Vienna Airport arriving in Smolenice Castle at ~15:30.

Individual transport from Vienna and Bratislava to Smolenice Castle

To get from the Vienna Airport Schwechat (http://www.viennaairport.com/) to Bratislava, it is possible to take a public bus (follow the sign “Buses to Bratislava” at the “arrivals” zone of the Airport). The buses depart every 30-60 minutes (Slovak-Lines or Student-Agency). This may be convenient for those who arrive at Vienna earlier and want to accommodate in a hotel in Bratislava.

To get from the Bratislava Airport Milan Rastislav Stefanik (http://www.letiskobratislava.sk/) to “KINO ISTROPOLIS”, please take the public bus No. 61 and leave that bus at the bus-stop “Trnavske myto” (it takes ~20-25 minutes). Other possibility is to take a taxi at the Airport.

For individual public transportation from Bratislava to Smolenice, you can take a bus from Bratislava Bus Station "Mlynske Nivy" (timetable at: http://cp.atlas.sk/bus/spojenie/); there are three direct buses from Bratislava to Smolenice on 11th September (Sunday) as follows:
Bratislava - Smolenice: 08:45-10:00 (Bratislava Bus Station - platform 41)
Bratislava - Smolenice: 15:30-16:57 (Bratislava Bus Station - platform 45)
Bratislava - Smolenice: 16:10-17:32 (Bratislava Bus Station - platform 46)
Please inform the Main Organiser in advance at Stefan.Janecek@savba.sk. A conference car will be arranged for you to pick you up from the Smolenice bus stop and take you to the Smolenice Castle (it is a few km up to a hill).

It may be convenient to check the public urban transport in Bratislava or the interactive map of Bratislava.

Conference Buses from Smolenice Castle to Vienna (via Bratislava)

There will be two Conference Buses on Thursday (September 15, 2016) early afternoon for the ALAMY_6 participants.

Both buses will be from Smolenice Castle to Vienna Airport with the stop in Bratislava Airport (if necessary).

The first Conference Bus will leave Smolenice Castle immediately after the Closing the Conference Program at ~12:30-13:00. The people who will use this bus will receive their lunch packed for later refreshment. The first bus should be at the Bratislava Airport at ~14:00-14:15 and at the Vienna Airport at ~15:15-15:30.

The second Conference Bus will leave Smolenice Castle immediately after the lunch at 13:30-14:00. The second bus should be at the Bratislava Airport at ~15:00-15:15 and at the Vienna Airport at ~16:15-16:30.
